Braided Copper Wire Connectors
Braided copper connectors are mainly used for connections in electrical appliances as they transfer the power to different parts of the circuit with minimum power loss. Applications include relay switches, earthlings tap and induction furnaces. These connectors or jumpers are flexible and are used in transformers, railway locomotive wirings, switch gears, power meter connectors and others. These supple jumpers also work like shock absorbers and bear the force of vibration, expansion/contraction and wide range of movement in mining trains, metro cabs and buses. High flexibility offers easy installation in small and tough places. Bare copper wires cannot be used directly due to security issues, so they are insulated with PVC or tin coating and hence are known as Tin Copper Wire. To make the wires strong and flexible these are annealed and then coated with tin either by dipping the wire in melted tin or electroplating the wires with tin.
After this process the tin coating insulates the wire and acts as a protective shield to give a long life to the coated wires. One major use of these cables is that these are used in underground cables and in the form of electrical copper wire. Be copper, aluminum or glass wires one can easily get them in the desired size and material of excellent quality and all this in a cost effective package.
